It’s been a while since I’ve blogged in a public manner, and the style I plan on using for this blog (a mix of professional with a dash of personal interest) is not something I’ve done before.

I’ve found reading the blogs of other professionals in academia, information science (libraries), and learning technology to be hugely useful over the last few years, and really it’s time to join the conversation and make sure I’m giving back at least some of what I feel I’ve been receiving.
